Campers, before you come to Camp, you'll choose 6 skills you want to try! You'll do 3 skills each day for about an hour each. Most Skills are designed for campers who are new to an activity. If you are already well experienced in a particular skill we encourage you to try something totally new that you've never done before. Also the skills below are what we hope to offer this summer; but, some skills may change before you arrive.
Blacksmithing
We're thrilled to bring an exciting new blacksmithing program to Camp! This program will provide campers with a unique and hands-on experience in the art of blacksmithing. The campers will learn how to heat metal, shape it into various designs, and create their own custom pieces to take home. With the guidance of blacksmithing-trained counselors, campers will gain a new appreciation for this ancient craft and the hard work and skill required to create something from scratch. This program will not only offer a fun and creative outlet for campers but will also teach them valuable lessons in perseverance, craftsmanship, and the importance of hands-on learning. We can't wait to see the amazing creations that our young blacksmiths will produce!
