Dates and Rates

We offer four two-week sessions. Campers can stay for multiple sessions, but have to be picked up by an adult of your choosing between sessions. Another option for our first time campers is Starter Camp, a one-week program specifically designed as a "best of" introduction to camp.

* If your child has completed the 9th, 10th, or 11th grade he has the option to be part of the in-camp program or the Trailblazers. The Trailblazers spend most of their time out of camp hiking and camping in the Pisgah National Forest. Find out more information about the Trailblazers here. Your child can be on both Highland and Trailblazer waitlists if you like. Sign up for either Highland or Traiblazers, and call the office to be put on the other waiting list.

The Starter Camp is for NEW CAMPERS ONLY who are currently completing grades 1-5, specifically for those who would like a five night camp.

Deposit: Our deposit this year will be $600 per session ($200 for Starter Camp). This will need to be paid for at the time of registration, either by credit card or e-check.

Deposit Refunds: Your deposit secures your spot for each session. If you cancel a session by February 1, you will lose ½ of your deposit for the session canceled, even if you are still attending another session. If you cancel a session after February 1, you will lose the entire deposit for the session canceled. Deposits cannot be rolled over, or applied to another session or another sibling. Campers may change sessions with no penalty if we have availability. SALT applicants who choose to register as a backup option will not be penalized if they cancel their camper session.

Tuition Due Dates: After the deposit is paid, ½ of the balance will be processed to your credit card or e-check account on February 1st, and the other ½ of the balance will be processed to your credit card or e-check account on May 1st. If you choose the monthly payment plan, the February and May dates will not apply.

Session Break: We will no longer have campers staying with us between sessions. If your child attends more than one session, you will need to make arrangements for them to be picked up between sessions and returned for the next session on Opening Day. The pickup person can be any approved adult age 18 or older. The camper's belongings may stay in their cabin over session break. We will try to make it easy for stayover campers to check back in on Opening Day.
